La Sagrada Familia

Everyone’s first stop when visiting Barcelona should be Sagrada Familia. I have gone there almost 4 times over the last 6 years and every time the experience is new and amazing as they are still under construction. It’s interesting to look at the façade change over time, which you can clearly see with the two toned stones.

You should always buy your tickets online to avoid the line and make sure you have enough time to explore the museum below. It’s worth it to learn about the history of the building and the life of Gaudí. Hey, fun fact the word gaudy comes from Gaudí, you start to understand why when you see his architecture.

These last two shots are of the museum, first a bust of Gaudí and then a model for the arches and columns inside the building. Such a beautiful building!
